We are looking for a Fan Value Commercial Analyst who will be responsible for structuring and measuring the entire life cycle of ESL users on various products and services. You will define metrics and key performance indicators that will be used in order to assess the company’s commercial activity. You'll structure and plan the pricing modules of the company's various single purchase and subscription touch points, set up Google Analytics goals and integrations, define report requirements for power BI or similar platforms, and unify the reporting structure of ESL's various B2C projects and products.

The Fan Value Commercial Analyst reports to our Director Marketing Automation & Analytics. Ideally, this position would be based in or near Cologne, Germany, however, remote work in Europe (CET time zone) may be available for the right candidate.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead report building together with stakeholders from Tech, Marketing, Analytics and Product
  • Build measurement tools to identify pain points and moments of delight within the customer’s journey
  • Regularly review and give feedback regarding retention and upselling measures
  • Assess risks & opportunities in product development
  • Identify and work with customer segments and individual value propositions, sharing learnings with Product and Marketing teams
  • Be curious about consumer interactions and think about how we can make them better and more sticky
  • Work at the intersection of tech, data, business, and marketing, and be comfortable with terminology from all these fields
  • Analyze the different aspects of fan monetization and derive recommendations from this analysis
  • Become a trusted consultant and ally for your colleagues working in Tech, Analytics, Product and Marketing
  • Own the Google Analytics tools and build goals and KPIs that helps assess fan value and performance
  • Assess the pricing of B2C products and suggest pricing that can maximize revenue generated from the various shops, websites, and events the company operates

What you need:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role related to Customer Value Management or related Digital Marketing topics
  • Deep familiarity with Google Analytics. (other analytics platforms as well is an advantage)
  • Project Management Experience is highly desired
  • Understanding of B2C business practices and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of esports industry and products (CS:GO in particular is a big plus)
  • Solid understanding of how digital products work “under the hood”
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written
