We are looking for a Director of Event Marketing to join our Global Marketing Execution team to support our DreamHack Festivals. You will create and lead marketing campaigns for our large DreamHack festivals across the globe. From concept and planning to execution and measurement. This position will work out of our office in Stockholm.


What you’ll do:

  • Drive popularity, attendance, ticket sales and viewership of DreamHack festivals
  • Create awareness and hype for events both globally for the brand, and locally for ticket sales through digital storytelling, content plans, digital marketing plans, creatives, local communities
  • Integrate marketing plans and storytelling with product brands and event productions
  • Integrate with local stakeholders on ticket driving initiatives
  • Develop a network and relations to local gaming related communities (unis, clubs, schools, cosplay/art, gaming communities, sports, retail)
  • Understand and capitalize on word-to-mouth marketing across specific communities
  • Map out important local influencers and stakeholders to engage with


What you need:    

  • University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Media Design, Journalism or equivalent experience in marketing, content agency or event promotion
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in marketing or agency work
  • Experience in ticketing for events, festivals, concerts, or conventions
  • Track record of running integrated media campaigns and producing creatives
  • Experience working with other creative teams, content producer, media agencies, product management, event ops, venues
  • Experience working with younger audiences in digital and real-life spaces
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other design and content creation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in the English language, both spoken and written; Excellent copywriting skills in the English language required
